Online Relationship and Couple Counselling during COVID-19

Northside Counselling Solutions is working hard to continually monitor the impact of COVID-19 in Victora and aims to provide a quality service to you and your loved ones during times of disrutpion to our daily lives.
As a result I am offering appointments either face-to-face, on the phone or online via Zoom or a combination of any of these.

Relationship and Couples Counselling

Anthony’s work with all couples is strongly guided by evidence-based, theory-informed interventions. These frameworks include, but are not limited to, systems theory, attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, emotion-focused therapy and behavioural intergrated approaches. Anthony works with you to find the most desired outcomes for the relationship.

 

Indvidual Counselling

Together with Anthony you can address a range of life’s issues such as stress, anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, sexuality and identity concerns or processes, grief and loss, changing behaviours and habits, unfinished childhood tensions, divorce and separation, conflict resolution, self-care and self-love. Anthony uses a multidisciplinary approach to support you to explore and learn about yourself in order to arrive at a place where life’s challenges are feeling more manageable and you are feeling a greater sense of empowerment.

 

Anger Management and Behaviour Change

Strong feelings such as anger can result in destructive and abusive behaviours. Anthony’s work with these difficulties involves emotional regulation techniques, taking responsibility for reactions, undertsanding your triggers as well as your partner’s, working to a greater sense self-control and self-confidence, as well as using more effective ways of communicating during times of stress and conflict. This work is often done individually or in a group. Relationship counselling can commence once the relationship has been supported enough to feel more equal and safe for all partners. Professional Supervision

Family violence practitioners, men’s behaviour change groups facilitators and family safety workers can contact me for clinical supervision to examine and reflectively discuss this highly complex and gendered work against the theories and frameworks that guide the work done to end male violence.
Rates for not-for-profit organisational teams vary. Practitioners can also access me privately.

  • Fee negotiable

* All appointments are 50 minutes and require 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid fee.
